Storm Mountain (Canada)



Description

Storm Mountain is located on the border of Alberta and British Columbia on the Continental Divide. It was named in 1884 by George Mercer Dawson.The "other" Storm MountainDawson also named another peak Storm Mountain, 100 km away in Kananaskis Provincial Park to the southeast. It is unusual for two peaks of such close proximity to share the same name, especially when named by the same individual.
