About

Prairie View Elevator Museum is a unique venue that has transformed a fading prairie icon into a vibrant centre, promoting culture and preserving the past.

Description

In the past decade almost all of the wooden grain elevators in the Pembina Valley have disappeared. In 2002, Plum Coulee was very fortunate to procure one of the last elevators constructed in this manner through the generous support of Agricore United.

This wooden grain elevator has been transformed into an amazing museum you absolutely have to see!

The Prairie View Elevator Museum is a unique and exciting venue that has transformed a fading prairie icon into a vibrant centre preserving the past and promoting education.
