The incubator is buzzing with activity this morning!
Flocks of geese overhead. Flocks of people on our yard. We had a record day today! Thanks to everyone who came and enjoyed the amazing day with us.
Penny is getting to the playful stage.
The pigs were not overly excited when we told them they were no longer Pig 1, 2, 3, and 4. But we are excited!! We are pleased to introduce, Annie Sue, Poppleton, Smithers and Pedro. What great names! If your name was chosen we will contact you. Have a great night all!!
Wait for it...... Wait for it....... Our athletes in training aren't moving with much speed yet. lol They need names so you can cheer for them when they are furiously racing around the track this fall. Help us name the pigs and get entered to win 4 general admissions. How to enter the contest: 1. Share this post with a friend. 2. Tell us what you think would be a great name for a pig. (There are 3 males, and 1 female.) Rules: 1. You may enter 3 times. 2. We won't be accepting any names like Bacon, Pork Chops, ect. (A lot of the children that visit us don't know where their food comes from.) 3. The contest closes on August 12, 2016. Over the weekend the Scarecrow Forest staff will pick 8 of their favorite names and then there will be a vote on facebook. If your name is chosen as one of the final 4, you will win the 4 passes. Best wishes!

A laugh for a rainy Saturday. So Mozart, the goat, decided he liked the horses more than he liked the goats. He decided to move in with Jenny, Spud, and Mini Cooper (formally Mr. Colt) and he is best friends with Mini Cooper. At the end of the video he saw the goats and realized that he is goat and jumped the fence to be with the goats. In Fall come see whether he is a goat and with the goats or is a gorse (a term a daycare worker decided we should call him) and with the horses. Another note, if you see him roaming on the weekends don't worry (no need to tell staff as we know he is a fence jumper and are ok with it). His horns make him look vicious, but he isn't. He will either be friendly or run away and jump the fence. As you can tell this is the first video I (Lorissa) recorded on my new phone, hence why I'm so confused.
Follow the leader. Mozart, Lorissa, Billy, Jack, Blue, Shirley, Ram, and the 3 sheep.
This is Little Peter's new home. I like talking to my animals and if you listen closely you can hear Little Peter talking back to me.
Lorissa zip lining and filming at the same day. I am afraid of falling so I let gravity get me going (I kind of roll off the zip line platform). Most people jump and fly down. Children love the zip line and want to do it multiply times.
The cannon replaces the pumpkin slingshot. You get 3 tennis balls to aim at a red barn. Lots of fun. I hit the middle door frame.
