Northern Reflection Lodge

Box 100, Prince Albert, Saskatchewan S0J 2Z0

Northern Reflection Lodge is not a 5 star fishing resort but we have all the amenities including a good sized log cabin with wood heat, generator power, hot shower house, great fishing & scenery that will awe you!

Our resort is located 150 kms north of La Ronge, SK in the heart of the Pre-Cambrian Shield, which is only accessible by float plane. Our Lodge is located on Gow Lake. Our guests fly out of Missinipe (Otter Lake) which is about a 45 minute flight to Gow Lake by float plane. Missinipe is approximately 450 kms from Saskatoon or 320 kms from Prince Albert. Fishing season starts June 1st. We are licensed for 8 clients at a time. We are the only fishing Lodge on Gow Lake therefore your group will be the only people on the lake.

Fishing packages include: boat, motor & gas
flight in & out of Lodge
filleting, packaging & freezing

We encourage catch & release on larger fish.

Gow Lake is a very easy lake to fish; therefore a guide is not necessary. But we will guide if needed.

Rates: 4 day light housekeeping starts at $1200 + GST per person. Will do other packages upon request (based on how many days & how many people in group). A $300 deposit per person is required at the time of booking.

What to bring: enough food for your length of stay,
sleeping bag & pillow
rain gear & warm clothes
fishing tackle & gear
refreshments (cans only please)
bottled drinking water
toiletries & towel

The client's cabin is well stocked with pots & pans, utensils, dishes, dish cloths, etc.

Your Hosts,

Dennis & Monica Baldwin

If you are looking for a 5 star fishing lodge and want to get winded and dined and waited on and told when to eat and when to fish, then this probably isn't the place for you. But if you are looking for the experience of enjoying the rustic north the way we figure it should be, in the comfort of a log cabin where you can come and go fishing at your own leisure, then this is the place for you. This is how we figure we can keep the cost down on a trip like this so everyone has the opportunity to enjoy the excitement of a fly in fishing trip at a very reasonable price.

Gow Lake Facts:

Gow Lake was formed by a meteor impact over 200 million years ago.

At the deepest spots, Gow Lake is over 100 feet deep, making for outstanding Lake Trout habitat.

Gow Lake is approximately 5 km in diameter, making all parts of the lake easily accessible by boat.
