About

Raising horses, grassing cattle, competing in working cow horse events

General Info

The main ranch is directly a mile and one half a bit south and west of Longview, Alberta where the horse program is located. The grazing lease is fifteen miles west in the Flat Creek valley one mile west of the confluence with the Highwood River. We stand three stallions and maintain a brood mare band of six to seven Quarter Horse mares. Jess Thomson starts our two year old colts and rides our open show horses in the Alberta and National Reined Cow Horse competition. We enjoy seeing good people enjoy the fruits of our breeding program whether it be in cow horse, reining, penning, roping, ranch work or riding down the trail.

Description

Our 25 years in the business is focussed on raising well bred, well built, well mannered and athletic western performance horses.
